Hi, this is my first time posting on Tom's community (hope i'm in the right section) so i've been wanting to upgrade from my PC that I have now I mostly use it for gaming and sometimes I stream on twitch and play gamecube emulaters, so I need this PC for good FPS and speed. I've made a build on pcpartpicker and this is what i got http://pcpartpicker.com/p/MrC923 my price range is about $2,000 or a bit more. Thank you.

@i7Baby The PSU he selected was a Supernova G2 850w. It's a tier 1 PSU.

If you want to save a bit more you can get this. Spend the money on good KB and mouse or a new monitor.

Yeah you do not need a 6 core i7 CPU. i7 4770k is more than enough (i5 4690k if your budget wary). You only need 8gb for gaming and you won't even be using all that up. So get a 4770k or a 4690k with a z97 board and put that money into a better GPU. Would look at the 290/290x or 780/780ti

For gaming, instead of X79, try Z97 eg i7 4790k and ASRock Z97 Extreme 4 - save at least $300

You won't need thermal paste with the h100i. It comes with it.

Use the savings from going to Z97 to get a hard drive and a better graphics card eg Asus GTX780

Only the evga supernova power supplies are good. Instead get a Seasonic 620, XFX 650 or Antec HCG 620M

You won't need those case fans. The Phantom has enough.

As far as spending your budget goes, this build is better suited to what your trying to do. You certainly do not need to spend this much to get what you want, but if you want to than this would be a better way to go.
