Hey guys,

This is more of a creative question. I have a tv (which i will use to play games) and a monitor (for work.) The problem is that these are both across the room from each other. What is the most convenient solution you can think of to make it easy to switch between both of these? (If I cant find anything more elegant I may just buy an EXTRA long HDMI cable and do it that way.)

Thanks for any suggestions you might come up with! Sorry its a vague question, I've just run into this problem and am brainstorming myself.

That's what I do. 15 foot HDMI cable I think. You also get sound that way but you will need to select the TV as your 'output device' in Windows sound settings.

I'm pretty sure HDMI will work on much longer cables than 15 feet.
