I recently installed the Catalyst 14.4 driver and experienced the black screen issue on YouTube, I uninstalled it and now it works fine. Does anyone else have a similar experience. I am using the AMD Radeon 7640g. Older Catalyst drivers worked fine but now with this it is odd.

Solution
I open the Catalyst control center
Go to : Video>Global video Quality> And in here you uncheck the 3 options that are there:

That solved for me. Remember to reload the browser and apply settings on the control center.

My specs are:

CPU: AMD A8 4500m 1.9GHz 4 core CPU.
RAM: 8GB
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7640g.

I am running Windows 8, but will most likely upgrading to 8.1 soon.

The 14.6 and 14.7 drivers both work on my A10-4600 APU so it might work on yours. It should pretty much be a similar architecture and age so the supported graphics can't be much different. The 14.4 caused issues on my laptop but they disappeared when I used the beta drivers.
