I have a dell XPS with an i5 from about a year ago. The ram went bad and I had built my own system and I haven't used the XPS in awhile. I am now building a new system, and this XPS has an I5 sitting in it. So why not use it? This is my planned build- Cooler master Elite 110 case, G skill 8gb ram, EVGA 600w PSU, 1TB hdd, GTX 750TI. I plan on using the Dells motherboard as well as the I5 cpu. Will I be okay doing this?

Dell often "switches" the placement of the I/O area (where you connect the keyboard/mouse/speakers/etc) on the motherboard and build cases specifically made for them. The resulting motherboard is "reversed" as compared to aftermarket boards. Check to make sure they did not do that to your motherboard or an aftermarket case will not work.
