Hi guys! So, I'm building my first PC (for my mom, but it'll get passed down right about when I need something cheap when I move out) and she is moderately tech savvy, however, she still wants an easy warranty. She was looking at computers from Best Buy, and I glanced at a few to make sure my setup for the same price was better (clear ;) ) and she said that she might just get a prebuilt one because of simpler warranty. I reminded her that they only had Geek Squad (Eeeewwww. :pfff: REALLY bad experiences and do not deserve the name Geek)

I can get all of the warranties on separate parts for a better price and only on what I need, but I would like to know if there is a way to add a warranty for her to call in and find out what is wrong with windows or bring her pc in to somebody at a pc shop.

Basically, is there a way to replicate a warranty for a DIY PC the same as a whole pc you buy in one piece with one number, or at least diagnostics help so she doesn't get ripped off and I don't have to slap any tech dudes at stores. I also must mention that it is windows 7 or 8.1 pro (possibly ultimate, but that depends on if my grandma's school has the needed accounts) and all warranted pieces are from newegg.

I will be helping her for two years before I go on my mission for 2 years (LDS thing), however, she still wants it just in case untill then.

Thanks! :)
