The PSU is complete junk and a danger to the rest of the components in the system. You should be using 2x4Gb sticks of DDR3 1600 or faster with a CAs of 9 or lower for dual channel operation(faster than 1 8Gb stick). And just to push the point further the TR2's are known to be system killing piles of junk.

The CX units from Corsair are still not good. Go for Antec, XFX, Seasonic. Get an XFX550.
