I need some help here. I just bought 8gb (2x4gb) Corsair Vengeance ram and as far as I know theyre 1600mhz each, however, when I run CPU-Z I see only 800mhz.. is there anything i have to do to get 1600mhz or i'm completely wrong about it?
DDR = DOUBLE data rate so take the true freq (800) times 2 to = effective rate (1600) so your fine (and the CR at 1T is good, most run at 2T, so it's a little faster performance wise )
The memory is DDR (or DDR3 in your case), or double data rate. The frequency value reported in that field will be half of the memory speed, as it is merely the clock speed and the memory can communicate at twice that speed.

1T is better than 2T (faster), it's the CR or Command Rate or Command timing setting in the BIOS
Oh, does 1T comes by default in every PC and laptop RAM or can we change that manually? If so how? Please provide any link and say what else could be increased manually or by any other means through BIOS related to RAMs..
