Hi there! I was planning on upgrading my current AMD 880G motherboard chipset to one that has an AM3+ socket. Here were 2 that I found but I wanted some suggestions from you all:

ASUS Micro ATX DDR3 2000 AMD AM3+ Motherboard M5A78L-M/USB3: http://
Gigabyte AM3+ AMD DDR3 1333 760G HDMI USB 3.0 Micro ATX Motherboard GA-78LMT-USB3: http://

And as a side topic, would this CPU be a good upgrade to my current AMD Phenom X6 1035T 6 Core processor?:

AMD FX 4-Core Black Edition FX-4300, FD4300WMHKBOX: http://

I may have ruined my CPU today. I opened my PC to clean off all the dust, however when placing the heatsink and the CPU back into the socket, I ended up bending the pins on my CPU. Now the CPU isn't fitting back in the socket, and it has multiple pins bent. I will be trying to straighten the pins later on, however if I mess up I'd rather just get my parts upgraded.

Thank you all for your help! I appreciate it :)

Actually bro, unless you're going for like an AMD- FX- 8350 or something, I wouldn't upgrade. The Phenom processors were much better than the FX ones. And on a side note, those motherboards that you have up there are pretty low end. I wouldn't buy them.
