Is the i5-4690K stock fan enough for gaming

With good cooling on your case, the fan will handle it. Just one question, if you don't plan to overclock, why are you going for the i5-4690K instead of the i5-4690? They're the basically the same processor, the main difference is that the -4690K is unlocked (allowing you to overclock) and the -4690 isn't. You're paying for something that you won't use I think.

well,I think it cant hurt,considering that the "K" model is just like 15 more US dollars (on Newegg,atm),give or take. Not a big difference and you can always replace the stock cooler with something better on down the line,should you decide to OC in the future. I am not sure on my future build if I would need to upgrade the cooler,as my CM N600 will have a total of 9 fans,including a 200mm beast on the right side. I will also likely get the 4690k and may OC just a little. I like the option,at the least.
