Good CPU and GPU combo?

So even though I am reasonably well educated in the world of Gaming computers, I am looking for some extra opinions. I have built a "Gaming" computer for my little brother that currently has an Athlon ii X2 215 in it with a Radeon 5450.

I have already bought an AMD FX-4130 , and I was wondering what GPU I should add. I have a GTX-650 for $69.99 after rebate. Is that a suitable Graphics card for light medium gaming in games like Skyrim? (And yes, I am American, I'm on the British forum for the higher IQ)

Look for the R7 250X (=HD7770, but newer), this one is a bit better that the GTX650.

But if you want something higher, the R7 260X or GTX 750. They have equivalent performance and are about 60% more powerful.

Thank you for the reply, but I didn't mention something else btw sorry, I'm on a tight budget, and originally I was looking at r7-240 cards, (I know they're slow) and then I found this GTX-650 for 70$. So is this a good deal and will it work well in that configuration I guess is the better question.

I see.

The GTX650 is not bad, i don't know how much performance will it have for Skyrim, but i guess it will work ok.
