Solution
Instead of i7 4820 and Asus P9 X79, get i5 4690k and ASRock Z97 Extreme 4 and save $300.

With that money, get an ASsus GTX780 instead of the GTX760

Get 2 x 4gb 1866 1.5v cl9 ram instead

Get Seasonic 620, XFX650 or Antec HCG 520M instead of 1200W FSP

You won't need a sound card. The current mobos have excellent sound.

With putting that much money into your build you will be able to get a decent top of the line computer that can run games smoothly. Like smorizio said, I would look into getting a SSD. The way I have mine set up is OS on SSD(128GB) and then I put my games and applications on a 10k HDD.
