PC Upgrade, what are your thoughts?

So my Althlon X4 760k is holding me back so much that I've decided to get a more powerful CPU as well as some extra RAM and better cooling. How does this look for a £270 upgrade?

My current specs:

AMD Athlon x4 760k black edition
MSI Radeon R9 270 2GB Gaming Edition
4GB Corsair Value Ram @ 1333Mhz
MSI A78M-E35 Motherboard
EVGA 500w 80+ PSU
500GB Seagate Barracuda HDD
Zalman Z3 Plus Mid-Tower case

New specs:

AMD FX 8320 Overclocked (Unsure what Ghz yet) + CM Seidon 120v Watercooler + MX-4 Thermal Paste
MSI Radeon R9 270 2GB Gaming Edition
8GB G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3 RAM @ 2133Mhz
Gigabyte 970A-UD3P Motherboard
EVGA 500w 80+ PSU
500GB Seagate Barracuda HDD
Bitfenix Shinobi Mid-Tower Case

The RAM I have is surprisingly the cheapest I can find with a frequency over 1600Mhz so I think I'll just underclock the RAM I have. I had a sole budget of £250 so I had to go a little over just to get the 970 board.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that the RAM is dual channel 2x4GB

Everything listed here is from Amazon, the RAM on amazon is £63 and all qualifies for a free delivery

Would this motherboard do for a slight overclock, and then I can upgrade in maybe 2-3 months?
