Will my Dell Optiplex 3010 run GT 630 2GB ?
Processor:Intel Core i3 3220 3.30GHz
Mother board: Dell Inc. 042P49 A01

So long as your mobo has a PCIe slot it should run.

Probably not.. its 275w.. look a the the graphics card maximum power draw and required connectors.

Sorry, I never saw the PSU. It's not enough. Maybe get a 500 or a 650 watt.

Caution. Be very careful upgrading the PSU in a dell. I have heard stories of them swapping the power connections from standard ATX configuration.

It looks like the best card you could get with this machine was an "low profile 1GB AMD RADEON HD7470" which is not very good. even intel HD graphics (modern onboard graphics) are better than this. it's not worth the money.

I have looked elsewhere on the internet and everyone has these problems with these machines, you cant upgrade them and they are useless for gaming. They are only designed for office use.

If you really want to play games you would be better off building a budget gaming machine or buying a one which uses generic parts (not hp/dell)
