I have a silverstone strider 1200w PSU, and am trying to work out what are acceptable readings, and what are good readings from a power supply?
I tested the power supply for awhile on a PSU tester. Here are the results;
-12v : 11.5
+12v2 : 11.9
5v sb : 5.0
PG : 280ms
+5v : 5.0
+12v1 : 11.9
+3.3v : 3.3
Obviously, the 5 and 3.3 volt rails are operating fine. I'm just concerned about the difference in voltage along the 12v rails.
The system I had this in would not start up (even with just the bare minimum). Yet it is powering 2 pumps in a water loop as we speak.
Is the 12v rail too unstable for a motherboard?
