Computer restarts without reason

Approximately 5 minutes after I turn on my computer it restarts without any reason (as far as I know, obviously) and then usually I don't have any more problems, but sometimes it restarts again after 5 minutes (also not 5 exact minutes).

Some days ago I had also problems with hardware, sometimes the GPU wasn't recognized, sometimes the keyboard, internet codec...
After updating all the firmware at least that isn't happening anymore, but the restarting remains.

Any idea to solutionate this?

Thank you for your time.

When the system shuts down does it do it immediately, or do you see it shutting its self down? Have you updated your chipset drivers? The graphics cards not being recognized could possibly have something to do with it shutting down as well. Check the event logs in event viewer and under windows logs > system look for event ID 6008 unexpected shutdown. See the events before the unexpected shutdown to see what was going on with your system before that. Any blue screens of death at all? The unexpected shutdown could be from a number of things but looking in your event viewer logs can help determine what may have caused it.

The psu is a Corsair RM 850, bought new in April.

I think it's not a temps problem, I have set the bios to warn me if the CPU temp is above 60ºC, and it has only sounded once, when I put the physX work to it and after some hours of gaming. It's a i7 4770K, now at stock settings, but never oced above 4,3.
I have two gtx 770, and GPU-Z shows a normal 60-75, and that only in BF4 after an hour.

I couldn't post anything yesterday, as the frequency between restarts is decreasing, and now there are ilimited restarts every 5-10 minutes. It restarted twice when I was about to finish this.

The problem not recognicing the GPUs properly continues also, and when that happens, always the CPU fan spin at max RPM and in the shutdown options in Windows 8 there are only two options: shutdown and restart, the rest are missing.

I have managed to solutionate the problem. It was caused by a program that shouldn't have failed, as it's shipped with Gigabyte's graphic cards, the OC Guru II.

I thought it could be a virus, so I used Hitman Pro and it told me there was an error in the boot archives or somewhere similar related with start caused by that "useful" program. So, I deleted it completely and no more problems.

ITGuyMikeP: I went to the event viewer and I found it very difficult to analise what happened before that 6008 errors. However, it would be useful to copy them and bring them to an expert if I have a similar issue, so your solution is a good futureproof one. Thank you.
