Desperately need Asus q500a Drivers for Windows 7

Hi there!

I have ASUS Q500A-BHI7T05 with Core i7 3632QM processor from past 5 months. It came with windows 8 which i replaced with 8.1. Now, I have realized that windows 7 is far better than this 8 family as these OS's use a lot of processor's resources even in the ideal state. Now i want to install windows 7 in the computer and i am unable to find the whole set of drivers for it.

Need serious help!!!

Everything I've seen says Windows 8 uses LESS resource than Windows 7. I have Windows 7 on 4 PCs and 8.1 on two, and from everything I've seen this is true. Taking a computer built for Windows 8 to 7 is fraught with peril because of drivers and things like the UEFI replacement for the BIOS and the GPT hard drive formatting. If you don't like the user interface in Windows 8, you can install the free Classic Shell.

You are right! When i installed windows 8.1, it was smooth to work with. However, after a few months, this operating system started taking at least 10% of CPU resources in the idle state. This is the reason i want to replace it with windows 7.
