I just brought a new System - Here for anyone Interested
So I want to sell my old one on eBay. I brought it in 2011 for $1500 AUD and its still a very good gaming system able to play most games at max settings or high for newer titles (Metro: Last Light, FarCry 3 etc)

So my Question is, How much is a good/ Competitive price (for Aus) to sell it for? I was thinking $800 that seems like a good price for the hardware performance imo....

Here are the system specs:
CPU - AMD Phenom II 3.2Ghz 6-Core
CPU Cooler - Coolermaster V6 GT
M'Board - Asus M4N98TD Evo
RAM - 4x4GB Sticks 16GB Corsair LP Dominator DDR3 1600Mhz
GPU - ATI XFX 6970 2GB (Stock)
HDD - Western Digital Caviar Green 2TB HDD SATA III, 7200RPM
PSU - Corsair HX 750W 80+ Silver
Case - Antec 902
DVD Drive - Samsung 22X DVD/CD writer
OS - Fresh Windows 7 Install

Solution
It is probably worth less than you hope.

A pc will usually fetch more if it is disassembled and the parts sold individually.
That is because it is unlikely that a buyer will want exactly the same pc.
Find your parts in used condition on ebay.
Then filter on completed auctions,
In green you will see what the part actually sold for.

ok, I will try that out. my only issue with doing that is losing money due to shipping multiple parts (about $10-15 each part)
Plus I'm not really comfortable disassembling the Motherboard, CPU & Cooler.
