I have a system with 2x500GB disk in a RAID1 configuration. (Win7)

I used the hardware RAID on the ASUS Z87 mobo.

One of the drive is giving SMART warnings and the raid configuration is healthy. I identified the disk that gives warning.

I've ordered an identical drive and I will want to change the drive as soon as I get the new one.

What's the best way to do the change without data loss ?

Here's what I'm planning :
Shutdown
Replace the problematic drive
Enter Raid utility
Rebuild array

Am I missing something ?

Thanks,
