Overclocking My GPU Question

I have been gaming on games that don't require a ridiculous graphics card in order to be able to run ultra settings. Recently, I got a new game that is right on the border line of the recommended hardware for my graphics card and I really want to boost that up. I know that if you overclock your PC, it will also reduce the life of your PC.

If I overclock just the graphics card of my PC, will it only reduce the life of that component or will it reduce the life of all the components inside my PC?

Solution
Realistically, you'd only have to worry about the gfx card. But, others will say, with due reason, that overclocking potentially could cause harm to the PSU and Mobo. And a risked PSU is a risk to the entire system.

That said, in theory, I wouldn't worry much about it. Many people OC their gfx cards, as it's the easiest (debatable) component to OC. Use Afterburner or something of the like to accomplish the job, and it's smooth sailing from there :)

Edit: Just be sure to watch your temps, and make sure they're lower than even the suggested max temps!
