I know that lga2011 is better for sli/crossfire configuration (hence the more expensive cost)
But I'm curious is the performance gap between the normal lga1150 (say 4770k) and the lga2011 (etc 4930k) is big in extreme sli/crossfire like tri or quad gpus?

Will the bottleneck from the lga2011 be much lower than the lga1150's?

Or it's better to save the money by going lga1150 way for tri/quad sli for games performance only??

LGA2011 is worth it if going with multiple GPUs, hence the 40 PCI-E lanes support. A 4820k CPU would be cheaper and will be enough for SLI or crossfire.
