So i got my new graphics card, but i cannot connect my 3 displays to it. Im using the 2 dvi ports and 1 display port. Windows recognizes the 3 displays, but one of the displays is gray and doesnt get any signal. When i try to change the settings its telling me the display settings could not be saved. The card is a Sapphire AMD Radeon R9 280X Toxic, 3GB GDDR5.

How are you connecting the display port (DP) monitor?

Since my display doesnt have any display ports, i had to use a DP-HDMI cable which is a clicktronic one.

Has to be an active adapter. Sounds like you are using a passive one.

Have to buy another one. I have a three monitor setup, with my TV attached as well for four monitors total off of my 7950. I had to buy two active mDP to DVI adapters at $30 each to make it work. No way to do it passively.

Thank you so much for the replies! What adapters do you have in use?
