Help!!
Randomly when on my PC, my GPU stops displaying and the fans stop spinning, I can still hear audio but its laggy. The fan spins up again but does not display. When I reboot everything is fine. This is not linked with any overheating as it happens randomally eg. After half a hour of BF3 , or five minutes or being idle. Sometimes when it happens I can hear a scratching noise from my PC.

My GPU is a Sapphire r9 270x 4gb that I already replaced the thermal paste on. My PSU is a Corsair AX860 and CPU a FX-4300.

Any help is very much appreciated!

Is the Graphics Card firmly seated in its PCIe x16 slot and are the PSU power connectors fully and securely attached? Often a GPU can experience intermittent power if it isn't fully seated in its slot.

The problem did seem to happen when I caused some bumping to my desk, I have pushed down all the wires on my PSU and so far no crashes!
