Hello Guys.

(AMD APU A8-6600K + GA F2A88X-D3H +4GB KINGSTON HYPER FURY 1600mhz) UBUNTU 14.04 64 server

I bought these parts to make a linux server, for backup and run a few services on my network , no graphic interface just the console.

Any way to adjust the quantity of RAM used by the gpu ?

I wanted to use more memory, as of now my system shows only 3GB off ram, if i could i would just leave 128MB to the gpu...but i can't find any settings that resemble the old onboard graphic memory configuration that we had before : P

Thanks : D

Well I know in windows you can but Idk in Linux.

Look in the BIOS there should be an option for this aswell.

But why did you get an APU?? A Pentium G3220 or i3 would be a lot faster for what your doing.

Ok i found out

>BIOS
>PERIPHERALS
>GFX Configuration
-Integrated Graphics ="FORCE" (SET FIRST TO SHOW "UMA FRAM....)
-UMA FRAME BUFFER SIZE =XXMB

: )

Yeah i considered the i3 but got the a8 on a promotion 50$ bucks less than an i3 (where i live)
Plus I wanted a 8 sata board ... already have 5 disks from the previous pc ... will be buying another 2.
