Better than expected FPS

I have been having a pain getting graphic intensive games to run on my first game rig. I reinstalled Windows 8.1 and got all my drivers in stalled. overclocked my crossfired 270x's to 1150mhz, and to my surprise I am getting around 70 fps on Far Cry 3 in ultra settings. that is a lot better than what was shown on this comparison at http://www.ocaholic.ch/modules/smartsection/item.php?itemid=1346&page=9 is there something I am missing here?

I can think of a bunch of reasons. For one thing, your cards are overclocked. You are also using newer catalyst drivers which most likely optimized performance. It's unlikely, but the test done on the website might have been on more graphics intensive scenes. I wouldn't worry about it. Make sure you're on the right settings; 1080p,8x msaa, ultra

270s are not much different than a 270x. For some reason I thought that they overclocked them in the test, but I guess not.
