Going from fx 8350 to intel 4790k and new mobo.

So witch is the best of z 97 motherbords ?

is msi gaming 7 a good one ?

rest of hardware

hyper evo 212 with to 120mm fans push and pull
MSI gaming r9 290 twin frozr 4
8 gigs 1600 mhz ram
800 w plus gold enermax lepa g800
ssd evo 840 120gb for os and 2 tb other storage
case with a 4 other 120mm fans for air movement

well not that much ....
mark 1 have some cool features like.. TUF Thermal Armor - Total Airflow-Boosting Heat Dissipation/TUF Dust Defenders - Repel the Dust, Expand the Lifespan...and cool looking and compact design.....actually mark 2 is tecnically better than mark 1 .....

mark 2 here in Latvia are a lot cheaper than mark 1 its like 60-70 eur difference. So should i go for asus mark 2 ?

Or look at gigabyte or asrock options ?

any of above is good .. all up to you what your need are ... need lot of usb then choose one have more ... need more sata .. choose the one that have more ... SLI ..ect ... but they all good

you can't go wrong

these 2 thing that drive people crazy when choose MB ... what do you want to do with your ? what your need ?

i have r9 290 now and in future will have Cf setup

But i am interested in how long mobo will survive and which are better for overclocking the 4790k

and one more question will hyper evo 212 deal with 4790k ?

the first 2 question i don't know because i own Asrock z97 extreme 6 ... so don't know much about the other just the spect i read only.

the 212 evo .. that what i have right now with 4790k ... it tall .. my antec 1200 barely fit it... have to take out my side fan to fit.
some mother board have little problem with tall Ram and also recommend to install the ram before put on the fan.

i'm OC right now as i write .. been OC the last 3 day ... have time in stress test check out forum for fun.

I'm currently on 4.5 at 75C max on AIDA stress test .. trying to lower the voltage when i get to lowest then maybe I will try for 4.6.
It's been very stable at 1.714 Volt now.. if i can do 4.6 under 2.0 Volt then i will .. on Air is not as good as water ... :)
