Hi, I'm building a $850 Gaming PC soon, here is my parts list: http:// . Someone please give me an opinion on the parts I have in my build, or tell me the parts I should have in my build. Note that I do not have an optical drive on the list as I have scavenged one from an old pc of mine. Thanks :D

Buy a single Sata cable as the mobo comes with one.

A full tower case, if you have never seen one, is HUGE. It will be as tall as your desk. They are enormous. Get a normal mid-tower. Building in a full tower is often harder because things have to reach further. I strongly recommend a mid-tower.

For fans, as long as you have 3 you are good to go. (front intake, top exhaust, rear exhaust) More fans DOES NOT mean a cooler computer.

Get this RAM: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gskill-memory-f312800cl9d8gbxl Order it today with the promo code.
RAM is way overpriced. Get normal 1600mhz stuff for $75.

PSU is not great. Change to an XFX550. MUCH better unit.

A full tower is WAY overkill for this build. Get a normal mid tower.

Ditch the LEDs, Sata cables (motherboard comes with 2), and the 4 pack of fans. None of that is needed and the LEDs can be added later.

USe all the saved money to get a 270x.

Sure, but I have 3 Sata units (dvd writer, ssd, hdd) so I need the cables. Its not a big deal though, only 2 bucks. I'll change the psu as I've heard astonishingly good things about xfx. The led lights would look cool, but your right, I shouldnt be wasting money when I'm on this budget. As for the full tower, I'm a first time pc builder so I was looking for the extra hand room, but now I'm worried about psu cable length so I'll just go mid-tower. Fans are overkill, and can you recommend ram that is a good price? Thanks for the help.

Ok, I found some Kingston 1866 mhz ram for 75 bucks, its 2x4gb. The speed, I know, doesnt make a huge difference, but should I go for it cause its the same price?
