Okay, so I am planning on building a PC to run demanding games at 1080p 60fps with atleast high settings and 4x anti-aliasing.
I was planning on building this:
AMD radeon r9 290
Intel 4770k cpu
8gb RAM
Would this be good enough or not?
Any criticism will be greatly appreciated.
(sorry for making another of these, I know there are loads of threads already :)) Thanks

If you're not recording/live streaming/video editing/3d rendering/etc, you could go with a i5 4690k or something for an overclockable cpu. It'll provide the same performance as the i7 in gaming alone.

At this current date an i5 is all you need for gaming, if you're not doing any rendering, streaming, recording or any software that would actually benefit from a L3 cache and hyperthreading etc. then an i5 is fine. An i5-4690K will be all you need and save you around £70.
