Hey Guys,

So I have built my first pc, everything going fine. It powers and runs, no beeps errors, there is two beeps at the start but the are the exact same that my current PC does when booting up. Problem is there is just no signal being sent to the monitor. I have gone right the way through your entire troubleshooting thread and still nothing. I have now noticed that with the corsair rm 550w psu I have that there is the C-Link slot that needs and extra adapter. Is the missing adapter the issue or is the C-Link not connected to this.

Would love some feedback.

Thanks in Advance!
Conor

Can you list your system specs (i.e. motherboard, GPU, memory, etc)? Have you ever had a video signal? Or since you built it and hooked everything up there has never been a video signal sent to your monitor from the GPU?

Also what do you mean by C-link slot? Can you describe what it looks like or what it connects to? I simply may not be familiar with this term but I personally haven't heard of it before.

Sure, the specs are;

Motherboard; Asus Z97-K
Processor; Intel i5 4690K
Cooling; Corsair H60
RAM; Vengeance Pro 16GB
GPU; GeFore GTX 770
PSU; Corsair RM 550W

For more info on the C-Link section, it's http://www.corsair.com/en-gb/blog/2013/september/rm_series_psu_to_corsair_link

They say optional here which is what lead me to believe that is was ok to not have it but I literally cannot find anything else.

This is the first time booting my PC so I have never had video output.
thanks.
