Which is better CAT6 24AWS or 32AWS

Solution
From Wikipedia, "The AWG tables are for a single, solid, round conductor. The AWG of a stranded wire is determined by the total cross-sectional area of the conductor, which determines its current-carrying capacity and electrical resistance. Because there are also small gaps between the strands, a stranded wire will always have a slightly larger overall diameter than a solid wire with the same AWG."

Do you really mean 32awg or did you type that wrong. You can find cat6 cable in wire sized 22,23 and 24. The smaller the number the larger the cable. Cable that is actually awg 32 is very thin. Although someone might sell cables like that they are not certified cables. Only buy cables that are marked TIA568 on the side.

Not sure what advantage a large cable...ie smaller wire gauge...might have. They will run the same speed since that is controlled by the equipment ports not the cable. Maybe on a PoE application they could get less voltage drop over a longer distance. Not sure PoE is designed to run on 24awg cable to the 100m limit without issues.
