The Asus DirectCU II cooler is statistically quieter from all the reviews I've read on it. That isn't specific to the GTX 760 though.

Performance-wise, the Gigabyte one is slightly better. You won't go wrong with either one like @"tiny voices" said. The difference is rather negligible and you should only care if you are really obsessive about it.

but what about silence? as I've heard that the windforce cooler is alot quieter...

I think both of them would produce the same noise. I would choose the ASUS if you are looking for a company with awesome customer support.
