Cloning a XP&WIN7 dual boot HDD

Is it possible to clone a XP & WIN 7 dual boot HDD in one operation. Or must I start over and install both systems separately. And should I re-partition the new drive before I start. I'm cloning a 125G HDD to a 320G HDD.

While you could clone in 1 go, the only partition you would be able to expand afterwards is the right next to the unpartitioned space.

Its probably best to do fresh installs to setup the drive the way you want . A fresh install also wipes out all the crap from things you havent used in a while and refreshes the registry.

  3. Thanks for the info. It makes a lot of sense to do it with fresh install. It's still good to know I can clone my dual boot drive so I can archive it.
