Hey everyone, I just wanted to post my current PC build and wanted any upgrade suggestions you might have (Besides the graphics card as I've just upgraded from a GTX 650 to 760)

I am extremely new to PC gaming and building, and as such am not really interested in overclocking at the moment. Simple upgrades would be appreciated!


CPU - AMD Vishera FX(tm)-6300 six core 3.50 GHz
Motherboard - MSI 760GM-P34 (FX) AM3+ AMD 760G + SB710 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Memory - ADATA XPG V1.0 8GB DDR3 1600MHz, 2 X 4GB
Storage - TOSHIBA DT01ACA100 1TB 7200 RPM
Video Card - Nvidia GeForce GTX 760
Case - Apevia Dreamer-4
Power Supply - XTreme Gear 600W ATX 20+4 Pin 12V Power Supply

The PSU is supposed to be pretty bad so I would replace that. Bad as in it will fail and probably take some of your components with it. Out of curiosity, is this a cyberpower pc? Since they use the xtreme gear psus.

A SSD for your OS would probably give you the most noticeable upgrade.

Also, your mobo is on the 760 chipset which wasn't really intended to be used with the fx series cpus so you shouldn't overclock on it even if you wanted to.

Yeah, sadly I bought the Cyberpower pre-built PC a while ago before I knew they were pretty bad. What psu would you suggest, and are they very difficult to install?

I've been debating on an SSD as well, but I literally have no clue how they work, how to get my OS on it and all that.
