Hello everyone. lately, windows 8 has been giving me alot of issues, including removing many of my tile icons, which i can no longer find, restricting administrative permissions, and causing the "change pc settings tab" to not open, causing me to not be able to refresh my computer. i looked everywhere in forums and no one seems to find a solution, so, i have resorted to completely wiping my ssd( i know formatting isn't good for it) and re-installing windows 8. How can i go about doing this. AND, if there is a way to fix all my problems without having to do the mentioned information. help would seriously be appreciated, because i am at the point where i'm going to trash my computer out of anger. thank you

All you've said is that your pc is being a lil' biotch and you want to slap it.
Its kind of like posting in a car forum that yours isn't running right... they don't even know if its gas or diesel.

Perhaps some spec's of whats in your pc and what you've done trying to diagnose it would be helpful.

And don't forget to list the power supply.

i updated the bios to 1505 which was posted on the asus website on 6/24/2014 and downloaded the 4th gen cpu updater. i did everything, but it still hasn't resolved the problem with my missing tiles, some admin permissions, and an inaccessable pc settings tab
