hi everyone I have an acer laptop with specs below:
Intel i5 3317U processor
and Aspire V5-571G mainboard
now the question is can i change the cpu to a better one ?
is it any cost effective to do so or not?
and who can do it ,can i do it myself?
is there any guarantee that my laptop works as well as i did before?
plz help me i need your advice thank you all...

While its possible, I know they did offer an i5-3xxx processor in at least one version of that model, you may also have to change the power supply board and the heatsync assembly to power & cool the processor. You're ultralow voltage processor may even have a different motherbd in it completely. You've got some researching to do :)

Also keep in mind it may be cheaper and quicker to buy a better laptop and then sell your old one.

Unfortunately no, you cannot upgrade your laptop's processor. Certain processors in laptops can be upgraded, however your processor cannot be replaced.

Your current CPU is for a BGA socket, which basically denotes that your processor is soldered onto your motherboard; hence unfortunately cannot be replaced.
