Just bought a Asus Geforce GTX 750TI for my old Dell XPS 420 and realized my power supply isn't the 425W as I thought they would have in with a 9800GT Video card. Its a 375W instead.

Accord to the GTX 750Ti box I need MIN 400W with min 12v current rating of 20A.

Again my power supply is 375W with 12v current rating of 18A

Dell XPS 420
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.40GHZ
4G Ram Windows 7 32bit
9800GT

Now will any power supply work? How many Watts do I need? Will it fit in my XPS case? Will I still be able to use the front power button?
Is it a simple install, etc just unplug everything and take old PS out and replace it?

Not sure what the 2 x 6+2-Pin is. I know from the box I need to 1 6pin Supplementary power connector so guessing this is that but what is the +2 pin?

Will this set up work or will my cpu and brd bottleneck me?
Going to upgrade to Win 7 64.

Here is a power supply I found on Newegg. Would it work?

Solution
video cards can have 6 pin pci power or 8 pin. with power supply the 6 plus 2 cables are cable that has 6 pins plus two for those 8 pin gpus. as long as dell uses the same pin out as a stock atx power supply all you need to do is unplug the power supply from the mb in two spots and then unplug the power to the drives.then take out 4 screws and slide the unit out. the unit you found should work fine. the on switch on pc are wired to the mb not to the power supply.
