I have Windows 8.1 and a gaming laptop, but I still cant play games on full screen. For example Call Of Duty World At War; I can open the launcher or whatever it is and the game starts just fine. BUT, when it goes to full screen mode it just goes down and I cant open it anymore.This happens with every game I try to play on full screen. And games like Cod, they don't have the graphics options in the launcher so I cant do anything about it... I tried to look for some kind of option to allow full screen programs, but haven't found anything useful. Please help! Its kinda hard to explain and my English skills are not that good but still... hope you understand and can help me, I would really appreciate it!

Did you install Win8.1?
I did a recent Win8.1 build and the windows installed the driver for the GPU. My brother noticed that it was not playing games properly. I installed the AMD Catalyst Package it was working fine.
Possibly a similar situation that you are in.
