system time not keeping up to date

Hi,
My system time is not get updated every time I boot up, it always starts from last setup time, I have tried changing the internet sync options and also the task scheduler -> Time Synchronization
but nothing worked. Its a new mother board (Asus maximus VII) I also tried replacing the CMOS battery. Any help??

If you changed the cmos battery. The only other thing I can imagine is that the motherboard is bad. I would contact Asus and ask them about it.

I will do that, but returning motherboard I am keeping it as the last option, I just wanted to check if I am missing some settings, or if there is some software updates that could fix it.

Hi,
came back to post an update on this issue, it got fixed for me, after trying lot of things from changing CMOS battery to formatting my PC, I updated my BIOS to the latest version and the system clock is working fine now, I had put under observation for more than a week, it seems normal. This was the last thing I wanted to try before taking the board back to asus. It finally worked..... :)

strange first time i seen you need to update the bios to get the system work in real time let see if someone have ever encounter this before .
