Im gonna get an i7 4770k soon and i want to know if someone has the specs of the Intel® HD Graphics 4600 to compare it with my old 9800gtx+ to decide if i should use it or dont, the 9800gtx+ specs are here and are easy to view in nvidias page : http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-9800-gtx-plus/specifications , but the Intel HD Graphics 4600 i coundt find any site with the specs with great detail.

Im not upgrading my gpu right now im waiting to dx12 cards to be released so im not looking for simple "get another gpu" answer.

http://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-HD-Graphics-4600.86106.0.html This is about the best you could get. I guess all it's missing is texture fill rate since it has no memory specs. But you really can't compare specs unless they are the same architecture. If you want to know what's better, there's this simple chart. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-7.html I do realize the 4600 isn't on there but it's about the same tier as a 7900gt. The 9800gtx+ is more than double the performance.

Dx12 will be supported by most dx11 cards. Fermi and up (400+) for nvidia and gcn and up (7000+) for amd.

The 9800 is far superior than any integrated specs. Don't switch to integrated.

Yes that is what i tought but i have hear someone else that thinks otherwise, and thats why i wanted to see the specs of intel in more detail.

The only advantage i see is that Intel can use dx11 and my 9800gtx+ cant.

There shouldn't be a problem in games since Direct-X is backwards compatible. Also not using Direct-X 11 won't decrease performance.

Well thanks for your replies you are the first 2 guys that dont want to kill me for not upgrading my gpu right now and care to answer my concerns.

Also, well lets say for example Watchdogs was locked to DX11 right?, thats why i said Intel hd had that "advantage" but since i dont care about that game... i just hope the new Dragon age and Witcher since they are going to release also on ps3 and 360 are compatible with DX10.
