Extremely overheating laptop please help!!

Hello,


My laptop is always overheating, I've tried everything! I don't know if it is the laptop itself but it is just always extremely HOT.


I don't put it over a pillow or any of that but it just overheats a lot and it causes it to lag, shut-down the occasional time, and to just be a bad computer.


If anyone can help please respond.

I had the exactly same problem here with my laptop. Put the energy plan to minimum power comsuption, it helped a lot for me. While a cooling pad helped it didn't solve the problem at all that's why I am going to repaste the CPU and GPU with a better thermal paste/compound (probably Arctic Silver 5).
If a cooling pad does not solve it you should consider doing the same with the thermal paste.
