Hello,

My Custom Built computer has started to freeze and sometimes crashes while playing games. I've monitored my Temperatures. CPU is around 40C, GPU 52C - 70C and motherboard stays around 30C.

My Computer Specs:
OS: Windows 8 64-bit
RAM: 16GB
CPU: Intel i7-4770K 3.5GHz
GPU: Titan

What steps can i take to figure out the root cause?

The Corsair would be good. Not sure about EVGA(and Etasis as an OEM, which is a no name OEM in my book.) as a PSU brand, I've only used their video cards in the past. The EVGA does have a 10 year warranty though, that's attractive.

The Corsair you linked to will either be made by Seasonic, or CWT which are more decent names than some of the unknown OEMs. CWT while not as good as Seasonic, is still good. They got a bad rep from brands that bought from them to market their lower wattage PSUs as if they were higher wattage. Just avoid anything that has a chart that says something like this(Ratings on chart reflect peak performance.) You want something that's rated in continuous supply which most if not all Seasonic, XFX, and Corsair PSUs...

I would opt for a 750w or 850w(continuous supply) for more longevity. Capacitors can age up to 10-30% per year dependent on the usage level. So if you were to get another 600w it would last 1-3 years. Some on here would say the 600w was way underpowered for the Titan anyway. My favorite brands are Seasonic, XFX, Antec, and Corsair in that order. Those are brands that rate in continuous supply. I'd avoid Rosewill, Ultra, Rocketfish, or any retail house brands as they like to rebadge 550w PSUs as 750w and so on and so forth.

When you get the PSU you can look up its actual manufacturer by using the UL code on the label.

Honestly if you're going to spend that much I would get something like this http://www.amazon.com/Seasonic-SS-1250XM-ATX-Power-Supply/dp/B00607JLWU/ref=sr_1_2?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1406293455&sr=1-2&keywords=seasonic+power+supply that way you know you're getting something from a good OEM. Nvm some of the DOA reviews. They're from people who expect large manufacturers to test each and every one of their units personally before shipping. And it happens with any brand, but there are thousands of people who own them who never thought to write a review because it works fine for them.

Alright I replaces the PSU and I am still having the same issue.

Additional notes:
- Computer only temporarily freezes after long gaming sessions.
- Computer has only crashed once since the installment of new PSU

I'm not upset that the new PSU did not fix my issue, although spending money on something that didn't fix my issue can't happen again.
