I have a NZXT Phantom Case and I don't have a fan on the front of the case and I have a 200mm fan placed on the top of the fan, but it still has a slot for another 200mm fan and another missing fan on the case's door. Should I buy the missing fans or is it not necessary?

More about : case fans

More fans=more noise
If your temps are fine now, dont bother.

You dont need to have all the fans spots taken

But generally you want the front case positon filled then the back, then either another on the front or side, then one on top and then either the side or front (whichever wasnt filled previously). So if you have X number of fans take the first X positions I just listed as a good layout

Agreed with Jameson, TBH you only need 1 fan in the front most situations running a stock machine. More fans = more noise and more maintenance because dust buildup in the case despite filters is an issue. My 2 boys use only 1 fan (stock machines) I clean it out 2 times a year. My machine (Overclocked both CPU and GPU) has 5 Case fans and needs to be blown out 5-6 times a year or the dust buildup gets quite bad (I do have pets and small children though).
