Hi everybody,
So I am looking at building my first PC and I have come to the dreaded Intel vs. AMD question. The computer will be used for gaming (Not hardcore), browsing/movies/word documents and thats pretty much it. Would I be future proofing myself for games that use more cores in the future if I go with the AMD FX 8350 or should I just use the i7 4770. Thanks

Solution
They may end up using more cores, but by then the 8320 would be phased out long ago.

I would take the middle ground. I5 4690k.
8320/8350 is a bit weaker on the gaming end, but is cheaper. i7 is heavy rendering etc work, overkill for gaming for most games. i5 is a great balance.

It would definitely help since I was looking at a Radeon R9 290 graphics card
