I'm from a country where cards are really overpriced. Finding a decent card with a good price is really hard. With my budget, the highest I can go is the R9 270x ($310-330, depending on the model), but this is really my upper limit and I don't want to go there 'cause I feel I would not be getting the best bang for my buck. In this situation, do you think a 2 GB PowerColor HD 7850 for $215 is a good option? Is the performance gain in the R9 worth the bump in price? Would a 750 Ti for $250-260 be a better option? What if I could buy a 750 Ti for $235?

The rest of the system includes an OCed FX-6300 with a Hyper 212X cooler, a GA-970A-UD3 motherboard, 2 x 4 GB memory sticks (Kingston HyperX Blu 1600 MHz), a Seagate Barracuda 1 TB HDD and a Corsair CX500 PSU.

Solution
The 7850 is probably the best performance per dollar of those 3. Technically, the R9 270 is a 7850 (the 270X is a 7870).

I'd put my money on the 7850. The 270x is faster, but no where near 50% faster like its 50% higher price.
At $235 I would not consider the 750 ti. Too overpriced.

Holy crap? GTX 750 Ti for $235? You weren't kidding when you said overpriced lol. For that price, you could have gotten an R9 270 instead. MUCH better than 750 Ti!
Try looking for an R9 270 or R9 270x at that price range. That'll be a lot better.

Why not go with r7 260? It's usually cheaper or get a second hand card that were used by a reviewer at your country.
That's how i get my graphic card. In my country, an r7 260x costs $220.
I know how that feels bro.

Yes, do what he says. Get the 7850 and you can overclocking it to somewhere near the r9 270 clock speeds

r9 270 is 7870, 270x is a little more than 7870, and r7 265 is 7850.

My apologies, you are right. I must have confused the r9 270/270x rebrand with how AMD did the r9 280/280x (fomer 7950/7970).

I would still recommend the 7850 out of the three cards due to performance per dollar, but if an r7 265 can be found at cheaper/lower cost you should purchase that.
