New to gaming rig building. Need suggestions on specs for an entire build including OS. No monitor needed. Not looking to play anything particularly cumbersome or straining (i.e. BF/heavily modded Skyrim), but looking to play games like Civ 5, Sims 4 on release, and WoW.

Any suggestions are welcome. I want this thread to become a discussion of what would be the best overall machine in my budget, rather than a heated argument over specific parts.

Thanks to all in advance!!

So I dont know of any EU specific pc part retailer so I just left it as is from the websites pcpartpicker.com suggest since most ship internationally. £700 is around $940 so heres this build. Also you didnt answer whether mouse+keyboard was needed so I didnt include. Also idk how to change prices to Euros so again I left as is.

This'll play any of the games you mentioned with flying colors and can even play newer AAA games like BF4 near ultra settings 60fps at 1080p (Can run on Ultra but drops to 40-60fps). And includes SSD for your OS and a few games that you play consistently. As well as a decent Mobo and CPU cooler which can handle mild OC if wanted

It's true but you're gambling that the supplier's stock of that board left the factory after May 2014, so I try not to recommend x8x boards in haswell refresh builds just in case.
