I am looking for a good GPU recommendation based on my build, I am thinking about 750W. Full modular and just a good fit for my build. Pretty heavy on the Aesthetics on this build so if its lighted it all it would be nice, but I know most if not all the better GPU's aren't, so its not a requirement it would just be nice.

(I plan on adding a second 270x to this build shortly so it will be crossfire)

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

The RM series is ok but any of the 3 that sincreator posted above are better quality than it. The EVGA G2 PSU is made by superflower who make some pretty good PSUs.

One of the reasons I don't like the RM series is because it uses cheap chinese secondary capacitors that should only be in budget PSUs not a high end one like this is being marketed.
If I were you I would drop that power supply and go with an XFX/Seasonic 750w and save yourself about 50-60 dollars. Then put that extra money into a better video card with more ram, like the r9 280 or maybe even a r9 280x. Then when you are ready to crossfire you won't become memory restricted by only having 2gb of ram. The r9 280/280x both have 3gb of video ram, and the prices just recently fell. You can get a r9 280 for about $10 more than the 270x you have in your build.

Forgive me inexperience as I am very new at this. I have already blown my budget so going up to a R9 280 wouldn't be a problem. What benefits are a 3gb GPU going to provide for me vs a 2gb GPU, in application?

More and more the new games, especially 64bit games are using larger amounts of video ram. Not only that but resolution is also increasing on monitors and televisions which will require more ram to run smoothly as well. With the extra ram you will be able to use higher levels of anti alising(smooth out jagged edges in games). If you want to try high-res mods in games like Skyrim for example then the extra ram will help alot.

PS: I recommend changing your ram to G-skill/Patriot/Kingston/Corsair since it is more likely to be supported properly by your motherboard. I never heard of the ram manufacturer you listed, and it may cause you headaches.

Here is a power supply that is excellent and will save you a fair amount: http://www.ncixus.com/products/?sku=63239&vpn=P1850SNLB9&manufacture=XFX&promoid=1286 XFX 850w. I recommend this unit since it is made by Seasonic, and it is a 850w PSU. If you plan to crossfire r9 280's, and overclock your video cards and CPU you will need a good 850w. It will save you some serious money on your build and it will suit you needs very well.

As for a R9 280, here is one that is the same price and a better brand IMO. It is pre overclocked, and has a better overall cooler. If this one is voltage locked, go with the one you chose first: http://www.ncixus.com/products/?sku=98788&vpn=GV%2DR928WF3OC%2D3GD&manufacture=Gigabyte&promoid=1286

PS: 8gb of ram is fine for now, so just get 2 x4gb sticks starting out. You can always add 2 more 4gb sticks later for 16gb total. You are better off running ram in pairs of two so that dual channel mode is used. With only 1 x 8gb stick you would only be in single channel mode.

Could you recommend a similar PSU that is modular? Not to be ungrateful for the recommendations you have already provided, but after some research I have decided modular is the way I want to go. I will go with 2x4 sticks for now thanks for that tip. I am doing some research on both the GPU's now because I am not to familiar with with overclocked or voltage locking GPUs. Thanks for your help thus far it has been Greatly appreciated.

These are a little more expensive, but modular none the less.

EVGA Supernova 850w: http://www.ncixus.com/products/?sku=94404&vpn=220%2DG2%2D0850%2DXR&manufacture=eVGA&promoid=1286

XFX 850w Pro BE: http://www.ncixus.com/products/?sku=78945&vpn=P1%2D850B%2DBEFX&manufacture=XFX

Antec HCG 850w: http://www.ncixus.com/products/?sku=86284&vpn=HCG%2D850M&manufacture=Antec

These are all great units, but I would personally go with the XFX or Antec unit myself. The EVGA is good as well with it's 10 year warranty, and it's the cheapest of the 3. You can't go wrong with either unit honestly. I just know the XFX and Antec PSUs I listed were made by Seasonic, and I trust that manufacturer a lot. ;)

Would this one work for my build and also crossfiring?
