Hi guys, I'm wondering which CPU Cooler is better the "be quiet! Shadow Rock Slim" or the "Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo" ?.... on the beginning was going to go with the hyper 212 evo but then I found the be quiet Shadow Rock Slim and heard good stuff about it so now I'm not sure which cpu cooler I should go with. Well the be quiet one is more expensive in my local store than the hyper 212 evo and it has no issue with the ram clearance like the hyper 212 evo but it is 135mm big so I'm not 100% sure if it would fit in a case, but I will buy a big tower case anyway so I assume it should fit inside it.

Be Quiet! Shadow Rock Slim : http://www.bequiet.com/en/cpucooler/479

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo : http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/cpu-air-cooler/hype...

Thats all :D  if you know plz reply

Thanks !

Well the evo 212 is 12 (length) x 16 (high) x 8 (width) cm and the 'be quiet' is 7.4 (width) x 13.7 (length) x 16.1 (high), so the evo has a tone of positive feedback and is smaler. Check your case dimensions so verify if it fits.

I will be using this case here : http://www.aerocool.com.tw/index.php/2012/12-december/3...

I will be adding 4 140mm case fans on the side panel so yah im not sure if both of them will hit the fans and the hyper 212 evo has an issue with the ram clearance I guess :S

Height limit for CPU coolers ( Without side fan ) 185mm
that what your case spect.

212 evo is 160mm + 25mm for the fan = 185 .... very close .. not so sure

on my antec 1200 i have to take out the side fan to fit this cooler

It's 23.4 cm width so 23 - 16 = 7 cm of free space to put your fans, that will be like 2.5 cm width.

Yes i was talking about the evo, and yes you can put the 4 fans with no problems. But you also would not have problems if you pick the 'be quiet' one because they have practicly the same high. However i'd go with the evo, people talk godly about it.
