My Current Specs are:
Processor: Intel Core i7 4960X Overck .
Cooler: Corsair H100i Liquid Cooler.
Ram: 32GB(8gbx4pcs) DDR3 G.Skills 2400MHZ QUAD Channel XMP mode.
Mobo: ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition. (updated to Bios 801_Beta)
PSU: Corsair TX 850W Enthusiast Series V1.
GPU: Runnin a GTX560Ti for now gonna buy GTX titan or somethin.....
HDDs: Seagate Barracuda 500 GB + Seagate Barracuda 1TB + Western Digital 2TB Green.
Case: Cooler Master Stryker White.

I am from India......So,I just bought this Rig not many months ago but still I just herd about the new Processor the Intel 5960X......i was wondering how much of a change does the 5960X has from the 4960X, I know the new processor has 8 Cores but despite that wat else does this baby have inside i am just curious....8cores does have its reason for Multitasking and Rendering but what new features does it have?

Solution
For gaming a 4790k is a overkill. With a high range of GPU r9 290/x or gtx 780/ti in SLI and 8-16gb of ram is more than enough. But as long as mad person are wiling to spend on a CPU more than twice others can aford for an entire system is a totally diferent case. And since he can afford it why not ?

Slightly faster, with a bit more cache (due to more cores and threads) and Advanced Vector Extensions 2 (which I have no idea whatsoever what it does). Agreed with a new mobo, he'd go for a z97, but it will also support DDR3 up to 1866. Nevertheless I agree with you, there's really no need for that, he already own a very good mobo, to change it in a very near future would be nonsense. Even if he has tons of rupees to spend, I'd invest in 2 titan black (since he already said he's going for a titan anyway).

I was thinking for 4960X 6core vs 5960X 8core on 3D Rendering & Multitask performances...It seems 4960X has so far not failed me once with its performance and reliability but I thought I should check out the differences....well I am happy with my current build and I do hope I don't have to change for few more coming years. Despite the GPUs which i gonna buy. I think I am set! however the DDR 4 ram is not something impressive for now cause The performance has only increased like about 20% from DDR3. I don't know about the latencies of the new Designed DDR4 Ram though...but going for a whole new rig just for DDR4 would be stupid for me indeed.

Soo you have 4960x and your titan didnt arived and you still go with a gtx 560ti. Pls troll somewhere else or simply ask for curiosity how much is the diference beteewn the 4960 and the 5960.
4960x vs 5960x. What to take into account?
-3.4 vs 3 ghz without the boost
-6 vs 8 cores
-ddr3 vs ddr4 (suposed)
-ivy vs haswell bridge arhitecture.
As for arhitecture. Unless the 5960x its on haswell refresh and has the improved thermal design cooling paste then it gains would be marginal. Compare the 2700k vs 3770k vs 4770k and youll see a marginal improvement ( its like intel focused more on the iGPU soo they can take only thing amd still has , as the CPU batlle its won before they start ).
-the 4960x you (claim) have you can put a sticker and say its 5930k. They are almost identical.
-5960x its a diferent story however. The CPU multithreaded app should provide a 25% compared to a 4960x. The facts is that there are very few apps and games that use 8 cores ( for now and for next 2 years as things go), most demanding asking for 4.
-the "60x" is finally worth buying over a "30k" since you gain 2 cores. Before there was no real diference beteewn them. Now its a reason to go for the "60x" with intel 5th EE generation.
- however there is also the impact of ddr4 will have over the sistem.

Maxwell are out soon enough so I didn't bother to buy any 700 series.... I kept in mind the gtx titans and Maxwell...if I see the maxwell out performing the gtx titan at same price range i'd go for maxwell gpus indeed or get the titan then...
and well I don't know in future how will 4xSli perform with the 4960x hope it does not lag or anything

processor = expensive
ram (ddr4) expensive
yes indeed the threads are useful for rendering and realtime multitasking but the price is a overkill for now

Exactly. To the people who need lots of multithreaded performance, the 5960X is worth it, but to most of us its not good in terms of performance per $£
