Hello, i am pretty new to the PC world, but anyway...Built my PC about a week ago, and everything seemed to be going well. Ive been leaving my pc on to download Steam + Origin games while at work or sleeping. Ill check the download status when i wake up or come home and my PC will be at American Megatrend screen, usually with a PSU fan Error or most recently Power Surge Error?? everything is brand new and quality? Any Ideas?

MY BUILD:
Maximus hero IV MOBO
Gskill SNiper RAM (2x4g) 1600
4670k w/ Hyper 212 Evo Cooler
GTX 780 Classy
Corsair AX860i Platinum
WD Black 1TB
Samsung EVO SSD

gaming works fine with no crashes, just when i leave it alone for a few hours to download. Thanks guys

Solution
Read the reviews on newegg about your power supply. It has a noticeable failure rate. If you have a spare power supply, any size is fine for testing, swap it out and test it overnight again.

Also double check your event log/ dump files in windows to confirm what's crashing.

Update on more information:

So i ran memtest to test my ram overnight, 10 runs without any errors. I ran prime95 with small FFt for about 2 hours, good temps, no crashes. As soon as i start playing a game, about 10 minutes in, my PC just shuts down, no audio loop or any warning what so ever. The LEDs on my mobo stay lit and the fans still spin like the pc is on, but the power to my keyboard is cut, the monitor goes to sleep/standby, the gtx 780 led strip is reduced to one light (strip of like 6 small white led's)?? Basically the only way to get it working again is to hard shutoff, wait a good 5-10 minutes and power it up again. Usually American megatrends screen shows " Asus triggered anti-surge, unstable psu", few times "CPU fan error", but most recently "SIO power OK delay fail". PLEASE HELP, i have been researching but cant find any solutions. Thanks guys
