Hey guys,
Just a quick enquiry to know if using a single molex cable to connect a six pin adaptor to my GPU is safe? I have a 500W power supply and the GPU I have is the Gtx650.

Here is an image of the cable:

If your 500watt power supply does not have a 6 pin pci-e cable then that is a crappy power supply and will likely not supply the proper voltage to your gpu.

Cheap power supplys are like cheap car amplifiers, they claim some really high number but in fact they cant achieve half that for a sustained amount of time, and if they ever do it will be for 2 seconds before it fries everything plugged into it.
