Hello all,
I have recently entered the PC gaming world and while I have been rather successful in my google-fu thus far, I have come to a bit of a road block. First I will post my specs:

Gigabyte 970a-DS3P MOBO
AMD FX-6300 CPU
MSI GTX 750 1gb GPU
8gb Corsair Vengeance DDR3
500gb WD blue HDD

Ok, now to my issue. I have been playing DayZ standalone for a couple weeks now on just about all low settings and am running around 45 FPS in general with obvious dips in cities. I have seen instances where individuals running a very similar set up to mine are running on normal or sometimes high settings with good result. I have tested numerous variations in settings but have not been able to up my settings while maintaining my FPS. Are there any tricks or back doors to having better settings while still getting decent FPS out of my current rig? Thanks to anyone who takes the time to help me with this.

side note. Yes, I have read just about every post related to this game and FPS settings on here and other sources but havent been able to get an answer to my exact question.

I've never played DayZ, but considering the amount of VRAM you have, I'd make sure the textures aren't too high. If you have enough VRAM, you can run at higher textures with little performance hit, but if you don't have enough, you'll have plenty of lag.
